      Pentaho Release Notes - July 2024

      Released Updates

      • [DQXX-102] Program Data Review 
        • An update to the report was released to improve age and data quality logic when clients are minors at entry and exit but have since aged into adulthood by the selected report end date. 
      • [HUDX-111(-AD)] CSV/XML Export
        • The services.csv file has been updated to ensure HUD services with expenses associated with Attendance delivery types are returned in the export as expected by adding an "e" prefix Service ID for attendance-based services with expenses.
        • Updates were deployed to ensure alignment with the HMIS CSV Format Specifications Supplement recently released by HUD. Additional guidance was given for how Date Provided should be populated in the CSV for W2 HOPWA Financial Assistance and V3 SSVF Financial Assistance Services. 'Expense Date' is Clarity Human Services' 'Date Provided', and the report was updated to align.

      • [HUDX-223-AD] System Performance Measures

        • A hotfix was released to ensure accurate data is returned for Measure 1b when the approximate date homelessness started is prior to the Lookback Stop Date. 
      • [UNIT-101-AD] Unit Configuration Report 
        • The Unit Configuration Report Agency prompt was updated to provide clearer language for the prompt name and to ensure the expected returned results in connected prompts.
        • Updates were made to account for Inventory applied to a program outside of the Inventory-configuring agency. 
      • Parameter Language
        • CoC prompts were updated to Agency CoC or Program CoC where applicable to ensure clarity when running reports. 
      • Pay for Success Updates
        • The following reports were updated to reflect new guidance for Other project types with Pay for Success funding sources for Housing Move-in Date logic per the HMIS Data Dictionary and HMIS APR/CAPER Specifications:

      Upcoming Updates

      • Personal ID Updates
        • Coming Soon: Federal Reports will have a new 'Client ID Selection' parameter to allow reports to be run with the 'Clarity Unique Identifier' or 'HUD Unduplicated Personal ID'. This new parameter will provide users with the flexibility to determine how reports will create the client universe.

      • [HUDX-111] CSV/XML Export

        • We are currently updating how non-ASCII characters are dropped in certain string data type fields.  
        • Updates are being to the calculated PITCount logic based on the Deleted Data prompt.
