Access Role Seat Types
This article describes the Role Types available for creating access roles that correspond to the available Seats in Clarity Human Services.

Overview
When configuring an Access Role, System Administrators are prompted to select a Role Type.
The options available for Role Type correspond with the available Seats in the system (you can view the number of available Seats in Subscription Details).
When selecting a Role Type, the corresponding Access Rights options will refresh.
Note: Once you save an Access Role, the Role Type for that Access Role will become read-only.
Role Type Options
There are three main types of Role Types:

Enterprise: This access role type is typically used for general users who do not need Admin- or Manager-specific access rights.

Manager: This access role type is typically used for agency managers who need additional configuration access.

Admin: This access role is typically used for system administrators and users who need high-level configuration or sharing access.
Specific Access Rights for Role Types
Each Role Type has access to specific Access Rights in Clarity Human Services. For a full list of access rights and their associated role types, see the Rights Glossary for Access Roles article.
Admin Only Access Rights
All access rights are available to the Admin role type.
The following access rights are only available to access roles configured with the Admin role type (System Administrator) access role:

Manager-Specific Access Rights
The Manager role type can be configured with all access rights except those listed in the Admin Only Access Rights table above.
The following access rights are only available to access roles with the Manager (and Admin) role type:

| Managing Agency Programs and related funding, services, accounts, staff, etc. |

| Gives users access to all client data within the data analysis tool. |
|

| Ability to view data from fields in screens indicated as Sensitive Data within any agency. |

| Gives users the ability to see the files listing and perform file import in the Data Import Tool (DIT) |
|
|
| Allows users to create and manage Encampment Programs. |
|
|
| Ability to add/modify/delete Configuration History records. |
|
Note: The access rights in the table above are also available to the Admin role type, but not the Enterprise role type.
Enterprise-Specific Access Rights
The Enterprise role type can be configured with all access rights except those listed in the Admin Only Access Rights and Manager-Specific Access Rights tables above.
The following access right is only available to access roles with the Enterprise (and Manager) role type:
