Inventory Model: Current Bed Configuration & Available Beds

The sample looks below are designed in the Inventory Model to review enabled beds within the Inventory Module in Clarity Human Services. 

Current Bed Configuration

Filtering to Current Configuration with the Inventory- Unit Configuration History view, allows analysis of current bed inventory configured within the Inventory Module. 

The steps below outline how to create this Look. 

  1. Explore - Inventory Model
  2. Fields
    Add the following fields to the Look: 
    • Dimensions
      • Agencies - Agency Name
      • Inventory - Programs-Program Name - Unit
      • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds- ID
      • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds- Bed Population Type
      • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds-Name
      • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds-Description
      • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds- Automatic Offline Status (Yes/No)
      • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds- Automatic Offline Duration
      • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds- Automatic Offline Duration Type
      • Inventory - Unit Configuration History- Status Start Date
      • Inventory - Unit Configuration History- Status End Date

  3.   Filters

          Add the following fields as filters to the Look: 

    • Agencies- Agency Name: Select Agency(-ies) for review (optional) 
    • Inventory - Unit Configuration History- Configuration Status: is Current Configuration
    • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds- ID: is Not Null
      • This will display current bed configurations and exclude inventory without beds set up.
    • Inventory - Building Unit Configurations- Enable Beds ( Yes/No): is Yes
      • Unit Configuration Type (UCT) in Clarity, must have Enable beds toggled on. 
    • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds- Bed Population Type: Select Population Type(s) for review (optional) 

Available Beds

Available Beds can be analyzed by utilizing Unit Availability Status dimensions. 

The steps below outline how to create this Look. 

  1. Explore - Inventory Model
  2. Fields
    Add the following fields to the Look: 
    • Dimensions
      • Agencies - Agency Name
      • Inventory - Programs-Program Name - Unit
      • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds- Bed Population Type
      • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds-Name
      • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds-Description
      • Unit Availability Status - Current Availability
      • Unit Availability Status - Current Status Start Date
      • Unit Availability Status - Current Status End Date
    • Measures
      • Inventory - Building Units - Count
 3.   Filters

         Add the following fields as filters to the Look: 

    • Inventory - Unit Configuration Beds-ID: is not null 
      • This will show current bed configurations and will exclude inventory that does not have beds set up. 
    • Inventory - Building Unit Configurations-Enable Beds (Yes / No): is Yes
      • Unit Configuration Type (UCT) in Clarity, must have Enable beds toggled on. 
    • Unit Availability Status - Current Availability: is equal to Available
    • Inventory - Programs-Program Name - Unit: is not null
      • This will include programs that are set up with units/beds

Select "Totals" in the Data Toolbar to retrieve a count of currently available beds.

Update the Row Limit as needed to ensure the row limit is not restricting results.
