Data Analysis Upgrade Note 09/13/2026

The Data Analysis Tool will be upgraded to Looker version 26.12 during the maintenance window between 6 AM - 7 AM PT (9 AM - 10 AM ET) on September 13, 2026. Release notes for Looker can be found here.

No action is required as a result of this upgrade.

New available features in 26.12 include:

Looker now allows row limits above 5000 for Table visualizations with 50000 rows as the maximum. Bitfocus will gradually increase the instance row limits and monitor instance performance as row limits increase. Read more here

The Single Value Visualization type is now called the KPI Visualization and has additional features like spark charts and comparison formatting. Read more here.

Google Maps Visualization Enhancements are now available including vector maps, dual-axis metric comparison, and contextual/custom overlays. Read more here
