Options on Collecting Inventory

 

With the great new functionality of Inventory, we understand that some communities may choose not to use the new tool. Whichever direction you go with the new functionality, we have the solution. 

Collecting Inventory Data — Without New Functionality

If you want Clarity Human Services to collect Inventory for a Program as it has in the past, navigate to Manage > Programs, then click on the Edit icon next to that Program. Make sure Use Persistent Inventory Calculated Records is toggled off. If it is toggled on, then toggle it off and click Save Changes.

 

Required Action: System Administrators should verify that all Programs that collect Inventory directly through that Program have the Use Persistent Inventory Calculated Records toggle in the off position.

Collecting Inventory Data — With New Functionality

If you want Clarity Human Services to collect Inventory for a Program using the new Housing Inventory functionality, navigate to Manage > Programs, then click on the Edit icon next to that Program. Make sure Use Persistent Inventory Calculated Records is toggled on. If it is toggled off, then toggle it on and click Save Changes.

 

Note: If you toggle on “Use Persistent Inventory Calculated Records” for a Program, you will no longer have the ability to add Inventory on the Modify Program > Program Resources section.

Required Action: System Administrators should verify that all Programs choosing to use the new Inventory functionality to collect and report on Inventory should have the Use Persistent Inventory Calculated Records toggle in the on position.
