2020 HMIS Data Standards: Field Adjustments

 

This Field Adjustment chart is designed as a quick reference source on the adjustments to existing picklist fields within Clarity Human Services in response to the 2020 HMIS Data Standards updates.For further details about how changes will be implemented and what actions may be required by System Administrators, please see the 2020 HMIS Data Standards Resource Guide.

Additionally, we've included a reference for the type of Looker adjustments required for each type of field adjustment. 

Please see the footnotes section for additional notes on some fields.

Looker Adjustments

1Any existing custom funding values have been moved under ‘Local or Other Funding Source’ from the ‘N/A’ value.

2'VA: Compensated Work Therapy Transitional Residence' was retired and mapped to new picklist item: ‘Local or Other Funding Source’.

3Identify and backdate any clients with the Prior Living Situation ‘Type of Residence’ of (27) “Interim Housing” and update to the appropriate living situation, as of project start.
